Idyllwild Cabin with Hot Tub and Fireplace | Historic Idyllcottage

We had a wonderful stay at this charming rustic cabin. It seamlessly combines cozy comfort with every amenity you could possibly need, and the furnishings were wonderfully comfortable throughout. The hot tub was amazing and very clean.

Idllycottage is a cozy and comfortable cabin in a great, walkable location. Kelly is a responsive host who provides thoughtful amenities.

We had an AMAZING stay! Perfect mountain town get away. Cabin is “rustic” in all the right ways. Close to town, hiking, all the activities. Kelly was a great host. Communicative and helpful. Great recommendations for things to do. My five year especially loved the creek right behind the cabin. We went everyday and checked on “our” fish friends in the little pool that was fed by a little waterfall. Hot tub under the stars every night. Couldn’t have asked for more and will be back. Five stars.

Great location and really cute cozy cabin. Across the street from one of the best restaurants in town (Cafe Aroma) and easily walkable to town. The fenced in porch and hot tub were great for relaxing after walking all day in town.

Enjoyed our return stay at the quaint cabin. Had a relaxing holiday week with our dogs! Loved spending time on the beautiful patio, walking to town and enjoying the great restaurants. The parade was fun too! Thank you for your hospitality!

We absolutely loved this little, historic cabin and wanted to stay longer!
I am a chef, and really appreciated the well-appointed kitchen! Everything I needed to make a few yummy meals.
The cabin is right across the street from Aroma Cafe, which is a favorite of mine!
We brought our dog with us and she absolutely loved exploring in the woods and trekking down to the creek and even waded in the creek.
We loved the outdoor spaces to hang out in the hot tub and happy hour on the deck surrounded by nature!
Can’t recommend this cabin enough! Can’t wait to check out another one of their properties in Idyllwild!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this historic, rustic gem. Had everything we needed and the hosts thought of everything, especially in the kitchen which was very well appointed. Close to everything we enjoy walking to, including across the street from Cafe Aroma. We parked our truck in the ample space and didn’t touch it all weekend. Easy access to the Strawberry Creek Trail which was beautiful and peaceful. We highly recommend this property.

Cozy cabin in a great location--up the hill from the center of town and right next to the Strawberry Creek trail. Very well-appointed kitchen and comfy beds. The patio is a nice addition, great for sitting outside and for use with the spa. There is some foot traffic on the driveway as folks make their way to the Creek, but it wasn't too distracting.

It was magical, cozy, and truly felt like home for the weekend. From the moment we arrived, we could finally exhale. It was our first time staying in Idyllwild (aside from two AstroCamp field trips I’ve done with my students), and it couldn’t have been a better introduction.
We loved relaxing in the hot tub under the trees, exploring a nearby creekside trail, and even walking into town for breakfast one morning. The coffee shop was a favorite, and we also had a delicious meal at a Mexican restaurant minutes away. On our way out, we squeezed in a pottery class and made two pots each—now we’re excited to get them back once they’re kiln-fired and shipped.
It was a bit pricey for a teacher’s salary, but honestly, all options on Airbnb are, and it was worth it. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

What a cozy cabin! It was exactly what I needed- a peaceful, comfy and relaxing get away. When my fiancé and I arrived in the rain close to sundown on a cold day, the fireplace was going, and a few lights were on- such a considerate and warm welcome. We loved using the hot tub, walking to dinner and exploring the town. Great option for a cute and cozy vacation in the mountains. There was a lot of sleeping room- we will be back with our family for another stay soon! Thank you for being amazing hosts, already dreaming of our next visit!

The house fully matches the description and photos. It’s not new, but that’s part of its charm — it carries a special spirit of time, especially with the height marks on the wall dating back to 1949, which were truly impressive. Perfectly located in a quiet area next to a small creek, where you can take relaxing walks with your dog and family and even spot deer. There are plenty of restaurants nearby — we especially loved Aroma, a great place for dinner, but make sure to book in advance during holidays. We fully recommend this place for a peaceful getaway!

Beautiful space, a gorgeous little creekside trail takes you right into town no more than half a mile! Close to hiking trails shops and restaurants. Hot tub was such a nice way to cap off the day! Fantastic cabin & great hosts! All the amenities you could want, a quick walk to town, delicious restaurant across the street, and beautiful lighting. The hosts were very responsive and helpful for all of our questions. We had a great time hiking, relaxing in the spa, cooking and just enjoying the home – didn’t even really want to leave the cottage. Hoping to be back soon 🙂

Great little cabin, close to the action. Just a 15 min or so walk to the downtown area and all the wonderful shops and restaurants.

Super cute and cozy spot that's easy to get to, and walkable to plenty of shops and restaurants. Hot tub is fab. It is right off the road so not the most private, but still a quiet neighborhood.

We loved staying in this cottage with our pup! The proximity to town is amazing and being able to hear the live music from Aroma cafe was a nice little touch at night. The hosts were so easy to communicate with and so so kind. We would definitely return to this location. Thank you for having us!

I cannot say enough positive things about this wonderful cabin and our experience there. it was very cozy and home. The warm wooden interior and overall layout was wonderful and inviting. The beds and bedding were soft and luxurious. My daughter enjoyed curling up in the little living room nook to read at nighttime. The loft was so much fun and just a magical place to meditate and do yoga when the family was out for a walk. The jacuzzi was relaxing in the evening while we enjoyed the night sky and stars.
We will definitely be back. This was one of the best experiences we have had with Airbnb, thanks to the host and the world they have created.

Great cabin in a perfect location! Close to town but still felt peaceful and private. The hot tub was a highlight, and the space felt very comfortable and homey. The hosts were friendly and responsive throughout our stay.

The minute we walked in, we loved it. It was exactly what we were looking for, a darling cabin in the woods, but still close to everything. Rustic and charming and private but so easy to get in and out. No winding steep driveway or anything like that. Just pull off the road and you’re in another world. We made good use of the hot tub as well walking into town and hiking. We will want to come back.

This place was very well located near the little downtown area, so it was great to walk to get coffee or dinner, etc. The hot tub was awesome and the bed was super comfy. All in all, it was a very cozy comfy cabin.

We had a lovely experience in this rustic cabin. Enjoyed the hot tub after long hiking excursions. Really appreciated the supplied forest passes. I enjoyed the path to the creekside each morning with my dog. Everything we needed to cook and store meals easily was available in the kitchen. The cabin was a quiet get away, but close enough to walk to town.
