📍Insider’s Guide: Best Spots to Watch the Parade

To help you secure the perfect vantage point, we’ve broken down the absolute best viewing spots along the parade route, starting right where the morning excitement begins.

  • The Starting Gate (Fern Valley Corners): For those who want to see the floats fresh and at full energy, secure a spot near The Fern Valley Emporium or inside The Funky Bazaar parking lot. It’s perfect for picking up morning pastries, coffee, or a handmade botanical souvenir from Wax Apothecary before the music kicks off.
  • The Midway Action (Upper North Circle Drive): Lining the sidewalks along North Circle Drive offers classic, tree-lined, small-town viewing. If you want a comfortable, prime view right in the middle of the action, look out for local business setups—like the reserved patio seating occasionally hosted outside the historic Rustic Theatre.
  • The Grand Finale (Town Square & Idyllwild Park): If you prefer to be right in the heart of the village center, set up your chairs near the end of the route approaching Idyllwild Park. It’s the liveliest area, leaving you perfectly positioned to explore local restaurants, village shops, and shady parks right when the parade wraps up at noon.
