Just a scenic half-mile stroll from Cafe Aroma and the local dining scene, our 1/3-acre property offers the perfect blend of convenience and mountain solitude. Relax in the loft’s California King bed, enjoy the rare comfort of central AC, or retreat to the fully fenced yard where your pets can roam free. After a day of hiking, soak in the Denali Sundance Spa on the back deck, surrounded by a lush forest for a true feeling of seclusion.

Experience the Idyllcove A-Frame Cabin: A 1966 Classic
Welcome to Idyllcove — We hope to share our family’s retreat with you! We have tried to think of everything when it comes to amenities in our unique Idyllcove A-Frame Cabin.
Kitchen
No need to worry about arriving to an empty kitchen; the kitchen at Idyllcove A-Frame Cabin is well-stocked with an array of spices (including Himalayan sea salt and black pepper grinders), oils, and a plethora of cooking utensils.
Living Room
The living room at Idyllcove A-Frame Cabin features floor-to-ceiling windows to let in beautiful natural light and forest views. We have a wood-burning fireplace to create the ideal cabin experience with a Restoration Hardware sofa to relax on, along with a four-seater dining table and barstools. Also, Idyllcove A-Frame Cabin is one of few rentals in Idyllwild with Central AC to keep you cool in the warmer months.
Bathroom
In the Idyllcove A-Frame Cabin bathroom, we have a walk-in shower with a detachable shower head (super handy for cleaning your infants, toddlers, and dogs too!). We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.
Bedrooms
Upstairs in the loft of the Idyllcove A-Frame Cabin, you’ll find a Cal King bed sitting under the soaring A-frame peak. Opposite the bed, you’ll see those floor-to-ceiling windows again. Downstairs is an additional bedroom with a queen bed and a washer and dryer.
Backyard & Hot Tub
On the back deck of the Idyllcove A-Frame Cabin resides the Sundance Denali hot tub, a BBQ grill, an outdoor dining table, and Adirondack chairs. Enjoy an evening watching the stars from our hot tub while your fur babies run free in our fully fenced yard.

𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐦𝐬
Weekends require a 2 night minimum, holiday and event weekends are 3-4 night minimum. Though our typical nightly minimum is two nights, three or four-night minimums do exist on specific dates regardless of holidays. Every booking will go under review before being accepted and we will reach out to you if your desired dates have a longer nightly minimum. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility in advance!

Please note the cabin has no “cable tv” (we cut that cord…) however the Roku TV has apps for streaming Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu and more.
𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬
We’ve collaborated with our cleaning crew to follow best practices for our industry. To keep our guests and staff safe, we are bleaching linens, towels, and triple-sheeting bed comforters.
We have also sourced Health Technology Triple Two disinfectant cleaner that has been pre-approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use against COVID-19 for disinfecting and cleaning all surfaces, especially commonly handled items such as tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, handles, desks, toilets, and sinks.
We also have antibacterial hand and dish soap for your use.
Finally, the spa is maintenanced between every set of guests.
𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦
We require our own Rental Agreement and Pre-Arrival form to be filled out before arrival. Riverside County also requires that we collect a copy of your Driver’s License or other government ID, the pre-arrival form will have a place for you to upload a photo of your ID. We will send you these items upon accepting your booking.
𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐬
✤ 𝑵𝒐 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒓 𝑼𝒏𝒓𝒆𝒈𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑮𝒖𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒔. This is NOT a party house. Parties will result in immediate eviction. Please respect city-wide quiet hours from 10pm to 7am daily. Riverside County requires us to have a noise decibel monitor that will alert us if high noise levels are sustained for a long period of time. The monitor does not record any noise, it only measures decibels so your privacy is maintained.
✤ 𝑵𝒐 𝑺𝒎𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈. No smoking anywhere on the property, inside or outside. We reserve the right to retain some or all of your security deposit should this rule be broken.
Cancellation policy
Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in. If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in. After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.

Cleaning Fee: To keep the cabin beautiful for your enjoyment, a cleaning fee of $125 is charged with your reservation.
Security Deposit: All reservations require a $250.00 security deposit.

Woodpile: $15 per night – a convenient and less costly alternative to buying wood by the bundle in town.

Place was as expected! Close to town, quiet location and everything we needed.
My wife and I had a fantastic stay at Idyllcove! This cozy little A-frame cabin tucked away in the woods of Idyllwild was the perfect escape from the heat and busy pace of city life. We loved the peace and quiet, the beautiful natural surroundings, and the chance to truly slow down and recharge.
The cabin was charming, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It felt private and secluded while still being conveniently located near town and local activities. We especially enjoyed the calm mornings and peaceful evenings among the trees.
Idyllcove is a truly special place, and we would happily stay again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a restful mountain retreat!
We absolutely loved our stay. The setting of the home was stunning! The home was so clean and comfortable. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with every piece of kitchenware that one would need to cook. (Ok maybe get a set of tongs- but that’s it!) The gates and fence made the stay so much fun for our 2 sweet black labs that usually have a much smaller space:) Thank you!!!
We loved our stay here. The cabin is clean, spacious, and had a well-equipped kitchen and laundry setup. Our dog loved the fenced yard. The wifi wasn't working when we first arrived, and the hosts were very responsive and had it fixed quickly. We would be happy to stay here again!
Our stay at Idyllcove was perfect. The ease of booking, finding the cabin, and entering was super easy. Everything was as said in the listing, and clean and ready for us to begin our relaxing getaway. I recommend this cabin and would stay again. The only issue was the WiFi did not work, and made it difficult to research restaurants/ trails in the area. Cell service was only one bar, so our phone were essentially non working for anything but taking photos. Otherwise than that, the hot tub was hot, beds were comfy, and proximity to town were all great. The WiFi was maybe only down our particular weekend, which happens! Reminds us to enjoy nature ❤️
Idyllcove was so perfect for a summer getaway for us and our two dogs (who loved the back yard!). It is so cozy and the hosts were very responsive and helpful. It’s a perfect location—a five-minute drive from town, and five minutes from trailheads for hikes with the best views.

This was the perfect place to stay at during our weekend trip to Idyllwild. They were accommodating of a slightly earlier check-in, and the house was so cozy and less than a mile from "downtown" Idyllwild. We loved waking up to a view of the trees through the large windows, and the backyard made it feel more secluded than it was. If you are looking for a comfortable, rustic home during your trip to Idyllwild, I couldn't recommend this one enough.
Idyllcove was the perfect peaceful getaway we were looking for! The A frame cabin was absolutely adorable with all the needed amenities you could possibly need. It was clean and well furnished. The property was very easy to find, access was smooth with no issues, and we would absolutely stay here again next time we are in the area! The Kelly was a fantastic host that communicated frequently and always responded promptly.
Such a magical cabin in the middle of the forest. We loved how private it was and it has all the accommodations for a cozy lovely and intimate stay . Our dog absolutely enjoyed the gated house and the outdoor patio. The pictures do no justice , it’s absolutely beautiful and the host thought of every single detail to make the stay comfortable.

We had a lovely time at Idyllcove. The place is in a nice location just a few minutes from the town centre with plenty of hikes nearby too. The house itself was cosy and well kept.

This is a little gem tucked away in the trees. We loved how it forced us to relax and slow down. It was very cozy and comfortable. Our kids and pup had a blast playing in the yard. We enjoyed the hot tub. We would recommend this place.
Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Beautiful A-Frame cabin in a quiet neighborhood. Despite having neighbors, the lot is heavily wooded making you feel like you’re in middle of the woods. The large fenced yard was perfect for our dog. Hot tub is a great addition to the cabin. Communication from Kelly and Sidney was responsive. We appreciated the check in to make sure all was ok. We had a great experience and highly recommend.

This was our first time experiencing Idyllwild and we always wanted to stay in an A-frame cabin. Kelly's cabin beat our expectations by a mile! It was so cozy, conveniently located, hot tub was clean and amazing, and best of all she offered firewood (for a price)! It saved us the trouble of having to bring our own. The beds and bedsheets felt like a hotel, while the bathroom was fully stocked with supplies. The kitchen had amazing quality pots, pans, and whatever you needed to cook with! I've stayed at plenty of Airbnbs and I've never experienced one with a fully stocked kitchen. We hope to make this place our annual trip!
This place was perfect! Just outside of town enough to be quiet and wooded, but only a few minutes by car. Hosts were very communicative and even checked in on ya during our stay. We had everything we needed for an Idyllwild getaway. Hot tub on back porch was the best!

Even cuter than the pictures! We were able to sit in the jacuzzi staring up at the stars in the peace and quiet of nature. Definitely recommended this place to friends and will be coming back in the future
Kelly’s place was just like it was described. One thing I didn’t see advertised were the not one but two adventure passes to visit trailheads and parks included in your stay! Major bonus! The weather was turning rough and Kelly made sure we were prepared before we left for our trip. Turned out we got 20” of snow during our stay, which we loved! Definitely will keep this cabin on our visit again list.
