Are your Idyllwild cabins pet friendly? Yes! We are proud to provide several “spoiled dog” friendly retreats. Some of our cabins feature fully fenced yards and gated deck areas so your furry family members stay safe.
Do these Idyllwild cabins have WiFi and modern amenities? Absolutely. While our properties offer a rustic mountain feel, they are equipped with high-speed WiFi, cable TV, and fully stocked kitchens. Our goal is to provide the perfect balance of comfort and nature.
How close are the cabins to Idyllwild Village? Location is everything. Most of our properties are within easy walking distance or a very short drive to the center of town, where you’ll find local favorites like Gastrognome and Higher Grounds Coffee.
What is the best time of year to book? This is a four-season destination! Book our historic retreats in the winter for a snowy getaway, in the spring for blooming lilacs, or in the fall for crisp mountain air.

One of our favorite Airbnb properties we’ve ever stayed at! Everything about the home felt thoughtfully designed, and it was effortless to settle in and feel right at home. The interior was beautiful and spotlessly clean, and we especially loved spending time on the balcony and in the backyard.
The location was fantastic as well. We loved being able to walk into town, having great trails just a short distance away, and especially having the creek trail right outside the property.
Our family had a wonderful time here and would return in a heartbeat. Would highly recommend!

What an amazing place for a getaway. The hikes, restaurants, and town were just easy. Friendly town and very dog friendly. The place was perfect, lots of amenities, beautiful ambiance, and very clean. Can’t wait to return.
We loved staying at Idyllcottage. They provided little touches that made our stay even better! Frozen glasses ready to fill, coffee creamers, toiletries, and plenty of puzzles, books and games to choose from. Close enough to town to walk but at the same time far enough to relax without noise. We will be back!

The home is beautiful set on 1.5 private acres makes for a very relaxing get away! Very clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, and perfect location within walking distance to town and top restaurants. The hot tub was clean and awesome after a long hike or just to kick back and look at the stars at night. We didn’t want to leave. We will be back. Thank you Kelly!

We had a great stay in Idyllwild at the cabin. It was just the two of us and perfect size for us. Really cozy bed upstairs. Great location only a few minutes to downtown area. Cute and lots of character
I stay up in Idyllwild monthly, sometimes several times a month, and as such I've stayed at DOZENS of airbnb's up there. Kelly's place might well be my favorite home I've stayed in out of all of them. In large part because of that absolutely AMAZING gazebo!! The whole cabin is perfect, and cozy. Comfy couches, comfy beds, great deck and patios off each bedroom. I mean, you can't ask for more really...and of course Kelly was awesome and a wonderful host...but that gazebo is incredible. For a couple or a small group, this is probably the best place you'll find in the area. I'd HIGHLY recommend it for a couple, the place oozes romance.

Amazing in every way.
Me and my pup came here for a much needed girl's getaway, and had the best time. Slow mornings, walk to town to get coffee, visits with the birds on the deck, yummy home-cooked food, good sleep...we wish we could have stayed even longer than we did. The home had everything we needed. As someone who likes to cook, it's always a treat to have pyrex, and all the cooking items I need. The bunkhouse was adorable, and made for great afternoon naps. The property is close to town, but tucked into a neat street where it feels more secluded. Highly recommended stay for anyone coming in the area. Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay at this charming rustic cabin. It seamlessly combines cozy comfort with every amenity you could possibly need, and the furnishings were wonderfully comfortable throughout. The hot tub was amazing and very clean.
One of the best rentals we’ve ever stayed in! The lodge completely exceeded our expectations and was absolutely perfect for a relaxing getaway in nature. It was beautifully decorated, cozy and rustic, spotlessly clean, and incredibly organized. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, and we especially appreciated all the thoughtful details, like having things clearly labeled.
There were so many great amenities and fun activities, including games and cornhole, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was also fantastic. It was close enough to walk into town, which made our stay so convenient while still feeling tucked away in the trees.
The hosts were wonderful, extremely helpful and responsive, and clearly put so much thought into making the lodge comfortable and welcoming for their guests. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Cozy, peaceful, beautiful, and incredibly well-appointed. We would absolutely stay here again. Simply perfect!

Beautiful property. Went in the dead of summer to escape the heat and this place did the trick. We loved the riverside gazebo and hammock. The quiet sounds of the forest at night were heavenly. This will be our go-to spot when we come back to Idyllwild!
We had a wonderful stay! The place was beautiful, peaceful, and so relaxing. I especially loved how well-stocked the kitchen was — it had everything we needed, including cooking oil and all kinds of spices. It really felt like a home away from home. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again!

We had an AMAZING stay! Perfect mountain town get away. Cabin is “rustic” in all the right ways. Close to town, hiking, all the activities. Kelly was a great host. Communicative and helpful. Great recommendations for things to do. My five year especially loved the creek right behind the cabin. We went everyday and checked on “our” fish friends in the little pool that was fed by a little waterfall. Hot tub under the stars every night. Couldn’t have asked for more and will be back. Five stars.
